My name is Effah Ameyaw popularly called Kakape.

I completed Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2000. After my national service with the Non-formal Education Division of the Ghana Education Service,  I got admission to Germany to pursue a master’s degree program ( World Heritage Studies). I went back to Ghana upon completion and came to Chicago in 2010. I have been in Chicago ever since, visiting home whenever I could.

Currently, i hold the following positions:

1. Secretary – Brong Ahafo Association of Chicago

2. PRO – Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago.

3. Board Member of JETFUND (Jema Education Trust Fund)

4. Board Member of Naa Amerley Palm Education (NAPE) Foundation.

5. Co-founder of Possible Impossibilities, an NPO dedicated to poverty alleviation.
